Protection Wings
It's finally up and running: My charity Protection Wings site http://www.protectionwings.com
Please share this site with all of your friends and families. I have been so touched by all the stories and responses that I have gotten from this series. I love getting your emails and hearing your stories. I"m also continually looking to add new images to this series. I have just finished a new painting for the Protection Wings series for SIDS. This painting is taken from a photo of me and my new son Kaleb. I am dedicating this painting to ALL MOTHERS, for I believe it is one, if not thee biggest fear of Mothers all over the world.

The site looks great Wendy! And this is a wonderful portrait. A good cause to. I lay awake many a night just listening to Morgan breathing.

Long time no talk. I lay awake at nights also listening to hear Kaleb. I'll get up and put my hand under his nose to make sure he's breathing. The joys and struggles of motherhood!

I've been reading up on everything I can find on SIDS to protect my baby. I just found out that they are recommending keeping the baby in the parents room until they are 6 months old to help prevent SIDS.

Wow, I didn't know that. I guess Camie was safer...she *still* sleeps with us at 3 years. *rolls eyes*

It sure is. I wanted the painting to reflect the protection I feel that is around my baby and all babies. They are such spiritual beings when they are this small. I know they can see things that the rest of us can't.

This painting is beautiful. I lost my precious baby, Nora, on May 15. She was 11 months old, 10 days from her one year birthday, and full of life and vibrancy. Thank you for doing this painting. With your permission, I would like to place a link to your website from my daughter's website. This image is how I like to picture Nora, being cradled by angel's arms. Do you ever do personalized art? Thank you again.
